If you keep pushing forward day after day, week after week, month after month, year after year, and still have no clear destination ahead, it couldn't hurt to revisit some old haunts, familiar places where your heart once rested and your spirit once thrived.
I go back with the intention to move forward. I do not necessarily go back to stay; rather, I revisit to remind myself of who I once was, who I am today, and who I will always be... to reawaken the wonder, excitement, passion, confidence, and creativity that has lay dormant deep within me for far too long... to fulfill this undying need to continue moving, growing, and thriving... and to create something completely new and unfamiliar and, for once, be excited about it!
One's past need not be a weight that burdens nor a crutch that limits one's future; let the moments of one's past be building blocks with which one may create a fulfilling and meaningful life and upon which one may rise to one's highest potential.
