Small, but Mighty

Size is relative in terms of considering what is possible. A tiny seed, seemingly insignificant and subject to the will of the land, has the potential of becoming a giant redwood, standing firm and steadfast, moving the earth beneath its mighty roots. A tiny fleck of flickering ember, when moved by the winds, can set thousands of acres of forest aflame and bring life back to its basic state. Such is the potential within each and every one of us... Within this infinitely vast universe of ours, we are microscopic beings, but our capacity to do great and mighty things is just as endless.

I take great joy in witnessing this sort of phenomena... "small" being "big," so to speak. I have seen it in the way that children play and communicate their ideas; they never cease to amaze and astound me with the creative and brave ideas they come up with, and better yet, the ideas that they actually put into action. I get a kick out of seeing people's reaction of surprise when I sing out loud... looking at me, you'd never know that such a big sound could exist within me. I am in awe and reverence as I look up into the night sky, gaze upon the glowing moon, and think of how we, little specks of dust in the bigger canvas of space and time, have managed to defy gravity and step foot upon its alien surface.

So, ask yourself today: What am I, small yet significant, truly capable of? It is time to tap into the power that already exists within us. What is the catalyst that will propel you forward in a blaze of glory?
