Happy V-Day to You

Single on Valentine's Day... do I mind? Not at all. Today, I am satisfied with thoughts of a certain special someone and a quiet day of rest and relaxation on my own. Without getting into the whole cliché discussion about how today is just another day like any other, I think that today is still significant, that is, if we choose it to be. I think it is wonderful that people in love celebrate today, just as long as it isn't the only time out of the entire year that they make the effort to show that they care; I know someday I will be among them. Love is love, and it is amazing; it should be celebrated every chance we get, including today. Don't let the day define who you are or how you love; let who you are and how you love define today.
